Terms of Service & Privacy Policy
This document provides a summary of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy governing use of the QanVault decentralized protocol and interface.
1. Terms of Service Summary#
Protocol Nature
QanVault is an autonomous, decentralized set of non-custodial smart contracts deployed on public blockchain networks. The protocol operates autonomously according to deterministic open-source code.
Eligibility
- You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to interact with cryptographic prize protocols.
- You must not be a resident or citizen of restricted jurisdictions where participation in prize draws or decentralized gaming is prohibited by applicable law.
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your participation complies with local laws and regulations.
Non-Custodial Operation & Assumption of Risk
- You acknowledge that smart contract interactions carry inherent blockchain risks, including transaction delays, network congestion, gas price volatility, and wallet private key management.
- The protocol developers and contributors do not hold custody of your assets and cannot recover funds lost due to compromised private keys or incorrect destination addresses.
Prize Claim Expiration
- Winners must execute prize claim transactions within 72 hours of draw finalization.
- By participating, you explicitly agree that unclaimed prizes will automatically roll over into subsequent community prize pools and cannot be recovered after the 72-hour window expires.
2. Privacy Policy Summary#
Zero Personal Data Collection
- QanVault does not require user accounts, email addresses, passwords, phone numbers, or identity verification (KYC).
- We do not sell, rent, or monetize personal information.
On-Chain Data Transparency
- When you interact with the protocol, your public wallet address, transaction amounts, and ticket numbers are recorded immutably on public blockchains (Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain).
- This data is public by nature of decentralized ledger technology.
Local Client Storage
- The web application may store non-sensitive client preferences (such as selected theme, recent transaction history, or referral attribution parameters) in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
3. Disclaimers#
Participation in QanVault does not constitute an investment, financial product, or security. Ticket purchases are non-refundable entertainment expenses. Always participate responsibly.
